Authorities found drugs in semi-submersible vessel in Corcovado beach

On Saturday morning, the authorities located a semi-submersible vessel on a beach in Corcovado, in the South Zone of the country.

Apparently, it contained more than a thousand kilos of cocaine that were being transferred on the high seas. After a persecution, the criminals left the vessel, informed police sources.

Agents of the Drug Control Police (PCD) and the Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS) are in the area carrying out the counting and the respective investigation.

In the place there were several people doing a cleaning on the beach and they informed the authorities that three to four people fled the semisubmersible.
