Authorities keep fighting drug dealing

A couple on suspicion of selling drugs was arrested yesterday during a raid in Guapiles. 50 crack rocks and money were seized from the 47-year-old woman and the 60-year-old man. This is the result of an anonymous complaint made to the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ).

In Playas del Coco in Carrilo de Guanacaste, a man surnamed Canales, who was carrying 10 doses of marijuana and money, was also located.

In Guayabo de Bagaces, authorities apprehended another subject with five doses of cocaine. The suspect is surnamed Contreras.

In Ciudad Quesada, a man surnamed Quesada was captured minutes after robbing a pedestrian.

Two other people in San Carlos were arrested for carrying weapons and 10 dosis of crack.

A man in Siquirres, surnamed Cantillano, was arrested since he was a fugitive from justice for the crime of receiving stolen goods.

Another man, surnamed Matarrita, was also detained for allegedly robbing belongings from students at the Technical College.

At La Rita de Pococí, a detainee, surnamed Godines, was carrying 105 doses of crack cocaine, 67 doses of marijuana, 5.5 grams of crack and cash.

In Aserrí, two women surnamed Morales and Valverde, the latter was Nicaraguan, were found with clothes and other evidence stolen from several shops.  In the same area, authorities captured three men and two women associated with robbery against a woman.
