Authorities will close a path in Barrio Luján

If you live or travel in Barrio Luján, pay attention because Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) announced that from today, and until March 20th, authorities will close a path in this sector to replace the sewer pipes.

The way through Diagonal 10, between 13th street and 14th avenue, will be completely closed during six weeks.

Authorities will replace a pipe with a PVC pipe, but it is a very complex work:

It requires the demolition and reconstruction of the sanitary network, which is located in the middle of the road.

This intends to improve the wastewater collection service and to reduce the obstructions that frequently occur in the sanitary sewerage network of that sector.

Where can you go?

The cars and buses that cross Diagonal 10 and 13th street intersection, in the sector of Plaza Víquez, must continue along 13th street, until 14th Avenue. Then, they must turn to the East until reconnecting with Diagonal 10 (green lines).

For those who transit through the intersection of Diagonal 10 with 14th avenue, they should go to Plaza Víquez, turn on 12th avenue to the west until they reach 7th street, then turn south until they reach 18th avenue (blue lines).

AyA concluded that bus stops won’t be affected.
