BCR closed offices in areas affected by Storm Otto

Banco de Costa Rica (BCR) reported the decision to close its offices on Wednesday November 23rd and tentatively on Thursday and Friday in the following locations: Turrialba, Pococí, Sarapiqui, Bataan , Cahuita, Cariari de Guápiles, Guácimo, Guápiles Urbana, Limón Centro, Pocora, Puerto Viejo of Talamanca, Siquirres, Venice of Carrandi, Municipality of Limón, Municipality of Pococí, Río Jiménez, Subaste Ganadera-Gasol, Subasta Ganadera-Gasol and Subasta Ganadera-Palermo.

The measure was taken to protect the safety of the outstanding contributors in these areas,”

said Luis Ernesto Feoli, Human Capital Corporate Manager of BCR.

The executive said the institution will be on top of the information issued by the National Emergency Commission to determine whether special measures must be applied in other areas.
