Be careful at restaurants and bars!

April 7, 2017 by Staff News Writer

If you go to bars and restaurants, you should be careful.

Many people drink liquor and use drugs at these sites because they want to do it. However, sometimes other people put drugs into people’s drinks in order to rob them, rape them, among others.

Minnely Quirós, an expert at the Institute of Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (IAFA), stressed that this does not happen at all recreation sites, but the best thing to do is to be careful.

Here you have some recommendations:

-The extreme effervescent effect in a drink could be a sign that it has a drug.
-If the smell or the traditional taste disappears, it is better to change it.
-Before going, find out the reputation of the site you are going to visit.
-Go out with people you know and do not trust whoever you like.
-Do not accept drinks from strangers.
-Do not neglect your drink at any time.
-If you neglect your glass, because you are going to dance, for example, change it.
-As much as possible, order canned or stewed beers when they are served.
