Bigotes ride Competition will also address mental health

This year, the second edition of “Bigotes Ride” will look for more that fun and competition. As part of the activities, the organizers expect to deliver a message about how to care for your mental health.

This time, members of the Department of Mental Health from the Ministry of Health will participate and promote lifestyle habits that prevent anxiety and eating disorders and depression.

This celebration of health and sport will be held on January 8th, on a recreational tour of the mountains of Barva de Heredia. There will be Raffles, hydration, fruit, mechanical assistance, distinctive plaques, medical assistance and musical activities.

For those who are interested, the registrations have a cost of 4 thousand colones and will be on sale in:

Ciclo Atún Bike (Heredia Center)
Tico Ciclo (San Francisco in 2 Ríos)
Ciclo Monociclo (Tibás)
Ciclo Bici tienda (San Pedro)

Prizes include certificates for medical check-ups, cycling items from sponsor cycles and medicated products for prevention of solar cancer. The activity will start on the soccer fields 5 Suelo Tico, 200 meters east of the BCR of Barva de Heredia at 9 a.m.
