The purpose is to fight the problem of Styrofoam and plastic that gets accumulated in rivers and the sea,

said Montenegro.

The students expressed that they want to innovate through the use of low-cost and affordable. natural, raw materials.

Environmentally-friendly solutions are expensive. With our project, we are developing prototypes of dishes, which could become a reality,

added the young man.

This raw material allows the creation of objects for other uses, such as plant containers.

The youngsters have been working on their project since the beginning of the year and they stated that it is more resistant than styrofoam but not as much as plastic.

The Fair will be held until November 11th when the winners will be announced. However, it is not a competition, but a learning process where experiences can be exchanged.
