Nearly two and a half years after Hurricane Otto, residents of different communities of Guatuso already have a new bridge after the damage caused by the climatic event in the old structure.
The structure will facilitate transfers to 3,700 inhabitants of localities such as San Rafael, Betania, Cabanga and Pejibaye.
This work had a cost of 482 million colones and was created through resources of the National Commission of Emergencies (CNE).

More than 2,778 Kilometers of road were affected by loss of surface, damages in gutters, debris and others. In total, damage to road infrastructure can amount to 7.18 billion colones.
