According to the National Chamber of Transport Companies (Canatrans), the challenge for next year will be to focus on interline routes between suburbs and a new price model that is expected from the Regulatory Authority of Public Services (Aresep). During 2013 companies purchased 340 new buses, but warn routes could be reduced if Aresep cuts prices too much. Interline routes would provide direct service between high traffic areas, which bypass the center of San Jose.
