Campaign to neuter 40 cats from La Reforma Prison

August 9, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Starting on Wednesday, a castration campaign will be organized by Funda Kohli and Anpa Castraciones in order to neuter 40 cats from La Reforma Prison.

The procedures will be funded by Funda Kohli, a non-profit organization that works with children, women heads of household, seniors and animal protection and welfare since 2005. By means of dining rooms in Los Guido de Desamparados they give attention to more than 200 people per month. This initiative is led by Wendy Kohli.

This will be the first campaign on the site as part of an animal health policy promoted by the foundation, ANPA and the penitentiary center.

For us, it is fundamental to support this type of initiative and even more so in places such as La Reform Penitentiary Center, where we also want to seek the health of the local animal population,”

said Carla Valverde, director of Funda Kohli.
