Candidate proposes having more children for better sustainability of the IVM

January 25, 2018 by Staff News Writer

The presidential candidate from Renovación Costarricense ensures that the best way to give sustainability to the Disability, Old Age and Death regime (IVM) of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund is to encourage an increase in the birth rate.

Couples should have more children so that, in the future, the number of people who contribute to the IVM regime of the CCSS increases. With a policy that promotes births, we seek to strengthen the most important pension system in Costa Rica,”

said Campos Arrieta on the site My Conscious Vote.

Campos Arrieta, 33, is the only female candidate who aspires to the presidency of the Republic. She has no experience in the public service and this is her first participation in politics.

She is currently a producer and host of her radio show Interfaz, which airs on the Christian Life FM 89.5 radio station. She worked for six years as a producer and presenter of the radio shows of the religious organization Focus on the Family.

Campos is a youth pastor and has served as a community leader for more than 17 years.
