CCSS has no antidepressants

The Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) currently has no stock of a drug that acts as an antidepressant and psychological stimulant.

According to the head of the Department of Drug Management, Jorge Arturo González, despite having no stock of this drug, the institutional network of pharmacies have 5,874 units for policyholders that might need them for the following month and a half.

The CCSS is expected to buy 17,500 units on June 27th, to supply the product during 4 months and a half.

This medicine is included in the Official List of Medicines.
