CCSS won’t request employer’s order to access medical services provided by the institution

During her speech at the official ceremony celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) held at the National Theatre, its executive president María del Rocío Sáenz, announced that from January 2017 it won’t be longer necessary to submit the employer ‘s order to access the medical services provided by the institution.

The institution wants to give priority to citizens on their right to receive care and thus ratifying the Fund works for the welfare of the population,”

declared Sáenz.

The news was applauded by those in the activity, including President of the Republic Luis Guillermo Solís, who participated in the act with First Lady Mercedes Peña and vice presidents Helio Fallas and Ana Helena Chacón, among other Government officials.

This news join the one delivered days ago, in which it was announced that seniors don’t need to renew their license to access medical services in clinics, Ebais or hospitals.
