Celebrate tourism in the capital, with free admission to museums and more

September 27th marks the World Tourism Day and Costa Rica will join the activities. The Gold Museum, the Jade Museum and the National Museum will have free entrance to its facilities . This was announced by the Municipality of San José.

Mayor Johnny Araya said that this day is an opportunity to reinforce the many gastronomic, cultural, artistic, and sports options the citizens and tourists have in the capital.

The Tourist Office of the Municipality and the collective ChepeCletas will tour the city of San José. Information will be shared and the following points will be visited:

National theater,
Museums of the Central Bank,
Central Avenue,
Steinvorth Building,
Bourbon Market
and the Central Market.

This tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. If you want to participate, you should call the Municipal Tourist Office at 2547-6148 or send an email to turismo@msj.go.cr.
