César Millán will teach Ticos how to discipline their dogs

January 9, 2018 by Staff News Writer

On February 18th, the famous dog whisperer, Cesar Millán, will give a show in the country so that Costa Ricans learn to discipline their dogs.

In an interview with CRHoy.com, the expert stated that this will be a different show from the one he gave in 2012 and more in line with Costa Rican attitude.

Animals, by nature, know what they have to do and will always live a pure, relaxed and positive life, and that is why I say that I do not train dogs , but humans to be more positive, to have rules and limits, but with a more positive concept,”

explained Millán.

The famous Mexican assured that the key of everything is discipline and that nothing is achieved without it, because dogs are a living example of their owners.

According to Millán, it is important to understand the energy of the dog, but above all that of the human, because a passive and relaxed person should not have a dog that loves to run, because their energy could not be channeled together.

One of the main advice given by the specialist is that the person, when adopting or buying a dog should not choose it based on cuteness or fashion, but for their behavior and energy.

The specialist also explained that an adult dog can also be disciplined but the owner will not achieve it overnight. Each animal has its own rhythm and according to Millán you just have to know how to detect it.

The activity will be in the Living Park and for now the ticket prices are unknown.

Millán assured that he will choose several Costa Rican dogs that behave really badly and they will be the center of the show. Those interested can register their pets through their website.
