China and Costa Rica strengthen trade relations

Cathay Bank and the Chamber of Industry and Trade held a Chinese-Costa Rican Business Forum to strengthen trade relations between the two regions.

The activity involved Chinese investors from Sichuan province who are interested in doing business in Costa Rica.

In the event, characteristics of each region were shown as well as characteristics of the main industries, advantages in infrastructure, human resources and business facilities for both countries.

The forum was held by Godwin Tang, assistant manager of Cathay; Natalia Sánchez, representative of the Investment Management of the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica and Liu Xin, Sichuan Trade Department chief.

Entrepreneurs exchanged information and they were able to talk with their counterparts to establish business relations and offer their services.

According to PROCOMER, during this year, trade between both nations exceeds 330 billion dollars.
