Chinchilla: “PLN has great options for the people”

April 3, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Former president Laura Chinchilla said that she will support the candidate who wins at the convention process. According to her, Partido de Liberación Nacional (PLN) has a varied offer for the electorate and it should grow.

She insisted that each vote counts to define the future of the country and that democracy is fed every day. In addition, she stressed that the party is still a protagonist in any electoral scenario, because it is still the most popular one and it has a greater organization, although she did accept that this does not guarantee any victory. As a result, it is necessary to work without lowering the guard.

According to her, regardless of the number of votes to be cast, it is important to guarantee equality for all candidates, which have been given the possibility of setting out their basic ideas to be elected. However, if they loss, they can accept it maturity.

Chinchilla made a tour throught different educational centers with president of the PLN Jorge Pattoni.
