Clinic investigated for malpractice raffles implants and surgeries in Facebook

December 16, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Two breast implants, three slim laser liposuctions with lipotransference, two adbominosplasties and five laser fotona 6D, are the consolation “prizes” offered by a clinic on its Facebook site, despite having 12 active complaints in the Office of the Attorney for malpractice. In addition, this clinic is linked to a fake “doctor” who reconciled with the victims to avoid going to trial.

According to the publication, the draw will be on December 17th. The participants are asked to send photographs to assess whether or not they are candidates for the raffle.

These are the conditions:

they must read and accept the regulations, SHARE ON THEIR WALL, send a private message with photographs of the area they wish to improve, and tag three friends, if they do not receive the thumbs up emoji they are NOT participating.”

At the beginning of the month the authorities of the Public Ministry and the Medical Association launched a campaign to avoid more serious injuries and deaths resulting from surgeries or aesthetic treatments.

These are the recommendations before accepting any treatment:

-The doctor must be a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
-The patient must verify if the doctor is properly registered in the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and if he has registered specialties. You can visit the site: Portal of doctors (CLICK HERE) or phone 2210-2200
-The clinic must be authorized by the Ministry of Health.
