Coca Cola plant in Liberia to open early

June 26, 2019 by Staff News Writer

The Coca Cola plant located in Liberia might open earlier than January of 2020, since 75% of the works are already completed.

The plant is located in front of the Daniel Oduber Airport and on its 103,000 m2 plot, the three main buildings for the administrative part and processes have already been erected. Likewise, secondary buildings are built for warehouses, treatment plants, monitoring and supervision, among others.

Let’s remember that it is the most modern plant in the Coca-Cola System in the world and its level of automation will be an example to replicate in other countries,”

said William Segura, Public Affairs and Communications Manager of Coca-Cola for Central America.

In addition to the concentrate for Coca Cola, the plant will produce 89 more beverages that are exported to Central America, the Caribbean, Chile and Mexico, among other countries.

It is estimated that more personnel will be hired in the next few months, since they currently have 37 employees, but in total 130 direct and 100 indirect jobs will be generated.
