Coffee from Atenas is considered the favorite among coffee lovers who granted it the “Ernesto Illy International Coffee Award” in New York.
There Coopeatenas coffee received an award in the category “New York Coffee Lover’s Choice”.

said Juan Carlos Álvarez, manager of the cooperative.
More than 900 consumers participated in the selection of this award for the second edition of the contest. More than 14 countries around the world participated in the event.
This coffee is worked by producers in Atenas, Puriscal and Turrubares. It is currently exported to the United States, Canada, Italy and Korea.
