Confirmed! Health employees will go on strike today

September 10, 2019 by Staff News Writer

The officials of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) will be on strike this Tuesday starting at 9:00 am in front of the Central Offices of the Caja on Second Avenue. This was confirmed by the National Union of Employees of the Fund and Social Security (Undeca) in a Facebook post.

Tomorrow the CCSS Board of Directors will meet to make agreements on the terrible and authoritative order of the Comptroller. We’ll make them know that the workers of the CCSS will not easily waive our rights, we defend the agreements of February 20th and August 12th and we reject the statement of the Comptroller General of the Republic,”

says the post.
