Construction of bridge linking Costa Rica with Nicaragua 90 percent complete

Santa Fe bridge, linking Costa Rica and Nicaragua via the San Juan River is 90 percent complete and expected to open in April. The $30 million bridge is 360 meters and is positioned between the communities of Peñas Blancas and Los Chiles. Assistance was provided by the government of Japan.
