For the first time in Costa Rica, 18 professionals from different areas specialized in Autism and Aperger, so that they can provide a more comprehensive care for those who suffer from such disorders.

They graduated on Thursday, after studying for a year and 4 months through the “Specialized Technical Program in Autism”.

This is the first time the country implements this initiative, which was developed by the director of the Autism Organization of Costa Rica, Maribel Madrigal, and executed at the University La Salle.

Madrigal took initiatives from other countries and adapted them to the national reality.

If you have a bachelor’s degree and want to specialize, you can enroll for lessons next year, by calling the number 2290-1010, extension 105.

The courses are taught by 12 masters of different fields.
