Costa Rican Pokémon master: he almost catches them all

July 29, 2016 by Staff News Writer

After playing for more than 5 hours a day for about 22 days, Alex Solano, a resident from San Rafael in Desamparados, assures that he already managed to catch all the Pokémons available in Costa Rica.

The trainer, who is level 24, affirms that he managed to catch 145 Pokémons and explained that it happened because he played from 3 to 8 hours a day. In addition, he spent about 9,000 colones to achieve this goal.

It was difficult, there were some days that I had to get up early in the morning and I went out at nights with friends from the red team to find them. According to the application, I’ve gone over 144 km,

stated Solano, who said that he bought incubators and eggs to improve his performance. In fact through these eggs, Solano managed to capture several of the characters that are exclusive for other continents, but hopefully any lucky person can find them.

I’m still missing Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres … Mew Mew and Ditto too, but the game is great and it forces you to go out and exercise. You have to work really hard and try to level up,

declared Solano.
