Cyclist died after being hit on Sunday afternoon in Guanacaste

At 4:55 this Sunday a cyclist was hit by a vehicle, dying instantly. The accident happened in Cañas, route 1, on the bridge over Tenorio River in Guanacaste .

According to the Red Cross communications department, the 43-year-old patient was pronounced dead on the scene.

So far, the identity of the victim is unknown.
