February 6, 2017 by Staff News Writer

To the rhythm of ‘Color Esperanza’, thousands of cyclists remembered the three athletes who died in Curridabat, after being run over by a driver who then fled.

The group rode their bicycles from La Sabana to the place where the accident occurred.

The deceased’s families, as well as friends, athletes, fans and mayors of San Pedro and Curridabat were part of the initiative.

It’s enough. We want them to fulfill what people are asking for. We are going to push them to keep their promises. We want a free way to practice our sport. President Luis Guillermo Solís must act now,

declared Jesús Montero, one of the organizers of the event.
