Danish wanted for fraud was arrested in Puerto Viejo

On Monday, law enforcement officials and the Tourist Police arrested a Lebanese naturalized Danish man wanted for an alleged fraud in Puerto Viejo, Cahuita (Southern Limón).

The subject is named Khater and there is a complaint against him for alleged involvement in a fraud, to the detriment of a female resident in Quepos, Puntarenas.

The foreigner was referred to the prison cells from the OIJ in Limón for subsequent submission to the appropriate judicial authority.

For now, the case is in the hands of the Judicial Police of that area of the country.
