Do you enjoy robotics? Visit UCR this week

August 12, 2016 by Staff News Writer

This year, the fifth edition of RobotiFest 2016, at the University Of Costa Rica (UCR), will be held. In addition to competition, if you are fan of this kind of technology, this is a great opportunity to enjoy.

The cost-free activity is held at Rodrigo Facio campus, in San Pedro.

This year, the organization designed the event as a scientific-technologic conference in which people not only observe but also learn.

After 5 years, we have seen a tremendous development in robotics and in the way the field has diversified,

said Eldon Caldwell, general coordinator of the event.

Today a lecture on TITIBOTS, a mobile tool that allows children to program robots, will be offered.
