Do you live in Heredia? Bear in mind water rationing

May 17, 2018 by Staff News Writer

If you live in Heredia, bear in mind that the Public Services Company (ESPH) is applying water rationing measures due to the decrease in surface water sources, which causes a significant decrease in the flow that supplies several areas of San Rafael and San Isidro.

Therefore, the Public Services Company of Heredia (ESPH) established rationing schedules in order to guarantee the adequate use of the sources that supply the affected areas, which now include Santa Elena and Breña Mora.

Some of the zones with this measure are Santa Cecilia, Chilillal, Concepción, Santa Elena, and Breña Mora. Other areas of Heredia are not affected because they are supplied with springs and wells, which have a greater stability in the water flow.

The measure is already implemented and will be extended indefinitely with the following opening times for the tank: one in the morning and another in the evening hours.
