Dogs are allies of children’s learning process

In addition to being loyal partners, dogs can become a very positive influence on the education of children.

According to research conducted by the University of Fredonia in New York, these animals contribute to improving concentration and predisposition to solve school tasks.

The study also indicates that dogs can help children lose the fear to speak in public and raise their confidence level.

For veterinarian Yulissa Arguedas, there are different breeds that by their characteristics and personality can become the ideal study partner of a child.

A dog can give the child that extra level of motivation to do their homework at school. A dog has a lot of patience and will not judge or scold a child who makes a mistake, which helps improve their self-esteem,”

said Arguedas.

The specialist indicated that it is ideal that the animal receive some type of training so that it can better support the child.

Other benefits of studying with your pet include:

-It increases motivation and self-esteem.
-It helps solve problems related to socialization.
-It improves expression.
-It contributes to focus attention.
-It encourages reading habits.
