Dollar price falls from ¢570 for the first time in 2019

August 14, 2019 by Staff News Writer

The price of the dollar reached a new low in Monex wholesale market. At the end of the day it stood at ¢569.1, a value that had not been seen for almost a year. This means that on Wednesday, in this market, the dollar is ¢40 lower than at the beginning of the year.

On the other hand, in financial institutions, the value is ¢575, one of the lowest prices of 2019.

A lower demand for dollars and the lack of uncertainty seen last year prior to the discussion of the fiscal plan is what is causing this fall in the price.

In addition, the dollar has been around ¢570 – ¢575 for almost a month.
