Dollar price increased ¢5 in Monex

June 6, 2019 by Staff News Writer

Since last Friday, the price of the dollar has risen ¢5 in the wholesale market Monex, going from ¢588 to ¢593 on Wednesday.

The increase is already seen in financial institutions, where it is close to ¢600; with an increase of almost ¢ 2since Monday.

However, this movement would be an isolated event and the market has not shown signs of an upward trend.

The rise could be due to a significant payment in dollars, but it is a temporary, we can’t think that the exchange rate resumed its upward trend,”

said Daniel Suchar, economist.

In fact, since April this currency does not exceed ¢600 in Monex.
