Downpours will increase!

November 21, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The National Meteorological Institute reported that the low pressure system that affected the country last week became a tropical depression, so that rains will be more intense in the coming hours.

The most affected areas are the Caribbean and the North Zone, while rainfall will continue in the South Pacific.

In addition, national authorities announced the arrival of a cold front, located in northern Central America, generating gusts of winds of up to 76 km / h in the upper parts of the Central Valley and 60km / h in the North Pacific.

National authorities met to discuss the guidelines to deal with these natural phenomena that would affect the country in the coming hours.
