Drug dealers’ bunker was raided in Liberia

This week, officials of the Public Force raided a bunker with drug dealers and addicts in the Moracia area of Liberia, Guanacaste.

During the operation, the official caught 10 men and one woman, all of them with a record of various crimes, including robbery and drug possession.

The police also seized three guns, munitions of various caliber and three kilos of marijuana. On Tuesday morning, the deputy minister of Public Security and director general of the Public Force, Commissioner Juan José Andrade, confirmed the information and said that they seized a shotgun and short weapons.

The raid was carried out with the support of agents of the Public Force integrated in the Operational Support Group (OSG) and Special Operational Forces (OSF).

This police work is a national effort in the fight against drugs and especially against the local structures that distribute poison to our children and young people,”

said Commissioner Andrade.
