Drugs in Parrita

On Monday, after several operations, authorities seized weapons and drugs in Parrita, Puntarenas.

Authorities investigated 57 people and checked the police files of 31 suspects.

In Pueblo Nuevo, officers found a bunker where they detected 248 doses of crack, 59 marijuana butts 34.1 grams of compressed marijuana.

In a community known as Reformadores, a young man, after seeing the troops, fled and threw down a 22-caliber gun with ammunition.
