Duke, the puppy who lost much of its snout due to an attack with a machete, recovers and the veterinary gave him a medical discharge.

After 14 days in the clinic, the organization Vida Animal Costa Rica announced that the dog was sent to a foster home.

He will return to the veterinary center in 15 to 21 days for a second surgical procedure.

The rescuers removed Duke’s stiches on Wednesday and reported that the wound has healed.
