Earthquake shook the Central Valley

A 3.3 magnitude earthquake occurred northeast of Santa María de Dota in San José, at 5:52 on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the OVSICORI-UNA the tremor had a depth of 5 km.

The sectors near the epicenter were: South of Tejar, El Guarco, Cartago, and Southwest of Paraíso, in Cartago.
