Earthquake shook the South Zone and part of the Central Valley

A tremor shook the country on Tuesday morning.

The earthquake was felt in several areas of the country, but the epicenter was in Uvita, Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas.

According to the report of the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (Ovsicori), the intensity of the earthquake was 4.4 degrees, at a depth of 26 kilometers.

The tremor was felt in much of the Central and South Pacific of the country and in some locations of the Central Valley.
