Easter days off for all public employees

March 15, 2017 by Staff News Writer

On Tuesday afternoon, the Governing Council announced that the public sector will have days off the entire Easter.

This year, the religious celebration begins on Sunday, April 9th and ends on Sunday, April 16th.

In addition, April 11th commemorates the heroic feat of Juan Santamaria, hence the decision taken by the Ministry of Labor and ratified by the Council, of giving all public sector employees a full week off.
