“El Capo de Honduras” was arrested

National authorities from the Drug Control Police (PCD) and the Directorate of National Intelligence and Security (DIS) arrested a man known as “El Capo de Honduras” (The Boss of Honduras).

The suspect, surnamed Blanco, entered the country through Limón a month ago and he was followed by the police during 2 weeks.

The reports revealed that Blanco used Costa Rica as a “base of operations” and he was arrested in Cariari de Belén, in Heredia.

National authorities highlighted the participation of foreign authorities in order to arrest the suspect, who is being investigated due to organized crime related to drugs.
