Enjoy Café Latitud, the new coffee brand that offers the taste of freshly-ground coffee

October 21, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Coffee lovers now have a new option in the domestic market that promises to offer a 100%-pure, fresh product.

Café Latitud is a new brand which aims to innovate in the area of ground-pure coffee by using fresh protection’s technology, widely used in other types of coffee to keep the product as if it were freshly ground.

The technology consists on a freshness valve included in the coffee’s packaging, which allows to release carbon dioxide and prevents any oxygen from entering while maintaining the aroma and flavor of the product.

The new brand of ground-pure coffee has five different presentations: 20g, 125g, 250g, 500g and 1 kg, which are accessible to consumers who prepare occasional coffee, as well as for those who enjoy it in a daily basis.

According to the International Coffee Organization, Costa Ricans’ coffee consumption is very high, with an annual average of 2.8 kilos per person.

Café Latitud belongs to Nutresa Group, and it is distributed by Pozuelo company in different stores and supermarkets throughout the country.
