Escazú’s Municipality is not asking for data

On Saturday afternoon, the Municipality of Escazú made warned its residents about a group of people who intend to take their personal data.

The authorities reported that unscrupulous people have been contacting the residents via telephone, asking them to visit a site to submit their data.

The Municipality of Escazú is not requesting data by any means of communication, so we ask you to ignore any type of request, as it could put your personal and banking information at risk,”

informed the municipality through its social networks.

The municipality informed that if the users need additional information about the procedures they can call 2208-7500, or send an email to comunicacion@escazu.go.cr.
