Explosion of gas cylinder affected 3 houses and a warehouse in Limón

On Sunday, the explosion of an LP gas cylinder got Firemen sweating. The main concern is that the explosion happened in a cylinder warehouse located in Pueblo Nuevo.

The fire caused damages in 250 square meters of the warehouse, which measures a total of 1000 square meters. It also partially affected three houses.

The rapid action of the firefighters allowed them to control the fire in less than 20 minutes. The emergency occurred at 2:30 am.

In total, the three houses measure 300 square meters and the flames affected half of them. No people were injured or affected by the smoke.

The emergency was attended by four fire extinguishing units from Limón.
