Fabricio Alvarado meets with former president Rafael Angel Calderón

February 28, 2018 by Staff News Writer

On Tuesday, Fabricio Alvarado met with the former president of the Republic, Rafael Ángel Calderón, in search of advice and even support for the second round of elections. Alvarado arrived at the house of the former president in the company of his wife, Laura Moscoa and the candidate for the first vice president, Ivonne Acuña.

It’s good what Carlos (Alvarado) and you are doing by meeting with the former presidents seeking advice, because we have the experience of having been in Zapote for four years,”

said Calderón.

Alvarado received a letter from Calderón’s 8-year-old granddaughter, where she asks him to meet him some other day because she had to go to school this Tuesday.

Gloria Bejarano, former First Lady and former legislator of the Republic was also present in the meeting. Fabricio Alvarado already met with former presidents Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, Laura Chinchilla, and Óscar Arias.

The candidate of the PAC, Carlos Alvarado, would be meeting with the former chief executive on Thursday.
