Ferry services between Puntarenas and Naranjo Beach to be suspended

Due to maintenance work at the coasting terminal, four ferry services between Puntarenas and Playa Naranjo will be suspended from October 2nd to October 3rd.

The authorities of the Port Maritime Division of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport reported that the trips to be suspended are the ones that leave at 7:00 p.m. between Puntarenas and Playa Naranjo and at 8:30 p.m. between Playa Naranjo and Puntarenas.

Also, the service between Puntarenas and Playa Naranjo will not be offered on Tuesday at 6:30 a.m., nor the service between Playa Naranjo and Puntarenas, at 8:00 a.m.

The normal schedule will be restores from 10 a.m. on on October 3rd.

The suspension of these services will allow to carry out preparatory work to provide corrective maintenance to the port facilities of the terminal of Naranjo Beach, located in the Gulf of Nicoya, where soon two hoisting and a mooring dolphin and the ramp will be replaced for the improvement in the operation of this service.
