Filling the tank with ₡ 2,000 is possible!

Can you imagine spending only ₡ 2,000 to travel 180 kilometers with your vehicle? That is one of the advantages of electric cars.

But it could even be free: The Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) opened the first electric charging station at no cost, at its headquarters in Sabana Norte. Soon there will be another 2 in Jacó and Alajuela.

This is a donation from the South Korean government, which seeks to serve as an example throughout the country.
