Fire consumed boat in Puntarenas

At 1:15 on Monday afternoon, a call alerted about a fire on a 50-foot boat. The event happened in the Sami Marley workshop of Cocal de Puntarenas.

According to the communications department of the Fire Department, there were 3 units working at the scene because the fire affected the machinery area of the boat.

The Fire Department added that personnel of the naval station of Puntarenas were now studying that part of the sea, because due to the emergency there was a spill of fuel.

Fortunately, there are no fatal victims o injuries are reported, but the causes of the fire are still unknown.
