Fire consumes pine plantation in Espiritu Santo hill

A huge fire consumed a pine plantation in the hill Espiritu Santo, located in the sector of Naranjo, Alajuela, on Tuesday night. The information was corroborated by the Costa Rican Fire Department.

According to Aaron Arango, supervisor of the fire department, the units from Sarchí tried to control the flames. The affected square meters are unknown.

It did not represent a threat to the population due to the distance of the hill.
