Firefighters rescue 12 people from shipwreck in Puntarenas

On Thursday afternoon, officials of the Naval Unit of the Fire Department rescued twelve people from a shipwreck near the pier in Puntarenas.

According to the Fire Department the strong winds caused the boat to tip over.

The Red Cross staff examined the occupants of the boat, who did not need to be transferred to the medical center.
