Reports of floods in Sarapiquí and Guápiles

On Monday, relief agencies reported a flooding in Guápiles and in Sarapiquí, due to heavy rains that caused rivers to overflow.

Guillermo Montoya, from the Communications Central of Fire Department, reported cases in Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí and Finca 5, but no casualties.

Meanwhile, the Red Cross manages information about overflow of a river in Buenos Aires in Guápiles.

The rains are heavy in the area, so it was necessary to close the rote 32 for prevention.
